Judee Slack is an expert in small business services, financial strategies, and resolving any kind of tax related problem. She started her Orange County based company in 1979.
Ever vigilant of the challenges facing small business today, Judee actively participates in numerous activities and organizations, dedicating many hours to improving representation for small businesses across the country. She was one of nearly 2000 delegates who participated in the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business.
Judee has served as Past President of the Orange Co. chapter of the "National Association of Women Business Owners" (NAWBO). She is a member of the Employment Development Department's "Small Business Employers' Advisory Council" as well as the California Chamber of Commerce "Small Business" committee. She has also been honored by the Small Business Administration, having received their "Accountant Advocate of the Year" award.

Kathy Denham |
Kathy joined our organization in June 1999. Her background includes several years of experience in accounting related positions, as well as owning her own business.
Kathy's responsibilities at SlackTax, Inc. have taken her in a new direction. She is charged with the task of implementing and coordinating the promotional and public relations needs of our organization. Kathy has recently been given the new title, "Cookie Lady", by some of our clients because when you visit our office during our busy tax season, you'll find an assortment of freshly baked cookies.
When Kathy's not busy thinking up new ways to tell you about our great services or baking goodies, you can usually find her up to her ears in some new "craft" project. |
Victoria Bakker |

Victoria comes to us with an extensive background in accounting. She is a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor who has been working with small companies and large corporations since 1997, providing them with excellent service to assist them in addressing their bookkeeping and payroll needs.
Victoria's personal hobbies and activities encompass a wide range of interests. She is the current President and 2006-2007 area Governor for an Irvine "Toastmasters Club". She loves to drive and is a member of her local chapter of the "Miata Car Club". She also enjoys skiing and is an avid reader. And of course, she is a dedicated animal lover! |

Sher Wells |

Sher comes to SlackTax with over 20 years experience as Controller and Treasurer of Lifestyles-Resortwear, where she managed a team of bookkeepers and support staff for three business entities in North Carolina and California. In 1999 she ventured out on her own as a contract Controller providing services to dozens of businesses in Los Angeles and Orange County. As a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor, her primary focus with clients has been QuickBooks training and accounting. Sher is also enrolled with CTEC as a Registered Tax Preparer and has extensive experience with Peachtree and Mas 90.
When she is not attending to her accounting and tax duties, you can find her hanging out with her extended family, usually with a camera in hand, and working on crafts and photo scrapbooks. |
Kate Korona |

Kate is the newest addition to the SlackTax, Inc. team, joining the group in December 2009. Her background includes Telecommunications Marketing and most recently she spent seven years as an administrative assistant to the owner of a local tax preparation firm.
Kate's role at SlackTax includes various office responsibilities, most notably getting the finished tax packages ready for clients during the tax season.
When she is away from the office, Kate manages office responsibilities for her husband's company. In her spare time she is an Adult Literacy Tutor for the Literacy Volunteers of America, leads a nondenominational Bible study group, and volunteers on her church board. When she's not busy with those activities, she enjoys long walks or an afternoon reading a good novel. |

Judy has been with SlackTax, Inc. intermittently since 1986, taking time off now and then to pursue some of her many interests. Judy is a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor and has proven herself to be a valuable asset in providing excellent bookkeeping and QuickBooks support services. She holds a major in accounting at Cal State Long Beach, and has completed numerous accounting and tax related classes.
Judy's attention to detail and dedication to a job well done keeps our clients happy and their books balanced. She always has a warm smile and a friendly word to share. |
Janice Kuhm |

Janice is a valuable member of our Bookkeeping Services Team. She is a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor and a member of the American Institute for Professional Bookkeepers.
She comes to us with an extensive background in administration and 12 years of bookkeeping experience. She specializes in setting up and maintaining recordkeeping for small to medium sized businesses.
Janice is also an entrepreneur and has her own business making custom jewelry for galleries and boutiques. She knows firsthand the challenges a small business must face to be successful.
When she's not busy balancing debits and credits or making beautiful accessories, Janice likes to spend time with her family and two cats, Merry and Pippin...but our canine staff members don't hold that against her! |

 Nancy is our website and special presentations guru! She works diligently to make sure our website is loaded with the most up-to-date and useful information possible for all of your tax, bookkeeping and financial planning questions. She is also an integral part of our team during tax season as well as a part of our payroll department.
A native New Yorker, with a diverse background in many industries,
Nancy's experience includes management and administrative assistant positions with several large companies. She possesses an international flair and is well traveled, having spent all of her teenage years in the beautiful country of
Italy.
Nancy likes to spend her leisure time reading while enjoying a fine glass of wine, attending the theater or dabbling in one of her many artistic pastimes. |

Kinsey |

Introducing Kinsey, affectionately know as The Kinsinator.
She is our current puppy in training for the nationwide non profit organization Canine Companions for Independence (C.C.I.). They provide Assistance dogs for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities. Judee Slack is a volunteer puppy raiser for that organization and Kinsey is her fourth puppy. Kinsey will be a member of our staff for approximately 16 to 18 months. During that time Judee will teach her basic obedience and socialization skills, as well as introduce her to many of the environmental challenges she will face in her job as an Assistance dog. Kinsey will return to C.C.I. in August of 2011 to begin her advanced training. We have very high hopes that she will graduate and go on to be matched with that special person who will benefit from her special skills and her unconditional love.

Gabby and Clyde are the official SlackTax welcoming committee. Their job is to meet and greet our clients as they arrive, and they do it with great enthusiasm.
While they may be short in stature, they are rarely deterred from climbing their way into a client's lap for maximum attention. We suspect that Gabby may be part mountain goat as no lunch is safe at an elevation of less than 6 feet! Clyde, on the other hand, is the more dignified senior member of this duo and is always ready to extend a paw in a friendly handshake. |
